MTV Brasil is the largest and most important segmented TV station in Brazil. It was launched in the Country in 1990 and is an association with Viacom (USA), the largest entertainment group in the world. Some figures on the Brazilian TV station:

• Coverage of 34 million homes in 157 Brazilian cities
totaling 62% of domiciles in the Country
• 50 million people reached per month
• 30 TV programs, 14 hours of non-stop music during 11 video clip blocks
• MTV is the 4th TV station with the greatest brand prestige and the number 1 in terms of creativity
• More than 1 million Internet users have been registered
• 2,6 million page views and 37 unique visitors per day

 

TVA - In 1991 Abril launched the first pay TV operation in Brazil. Nowadays, TVA is an strategic partnership with Telefônica.
