With 1.050 employees, 52.500 m² of occupied area and the production of 568 million printed copies, among magazines, supplements and special editions, Abril Printing Plant is considered as the largest in Latin America, and it is the only one with rotogravure printing for publications in the region.
It operates under the filmless and CTP (computer-to-plate) processes, which speed up magazines production times and ensure an increasingly better graphic quality. Printing operations are fully integrated into the logistics and distribution areas, which allows for a greater productivity and competitiveness.
It is the first Brazilian printing plant to have an inventory on greenhouse gas emissions, according to the GHG Protocol methodology, and has been awarded international prizes granted for reducing its environmental impact, besides the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) certifications.
