SER
The SER teaching system was created to provide a complete solution for schools, based on publishers’ best available didactic content, comprising class planning, evaluation, pedagogic consultancy, digital complimentary materials and multidisciplinary projects. In July 2010, Abril Educação S.A. acquired Anglo, one of the most traditional education groups in the country, with more than 500 associate schools. That deal also involved Anglo Sistema de Ensino (teaching system), Anglo Vestibulares (college admission tests) and SIGA, a company dedicated to preparing competitive examinations for state entities. Its ownership structure is divided between Abril Group, which holds a 75.30% share and BR Investimentos, with 24.70%.
