Abril Digital is the Group’s unit responsible for Abril’s new digital businesses, developing products, contents and services in the platforms and formats to surpass the expectations of new digital consumers. It currently operates under Abril.com and Abril no Celular.
It is responsible for Abril’s new digital businesses and for the portals related to publications such as Veja Sao Paulo (1.969.284 page views and 423.508 unique visitors), Quatro Rodas (5.029.854 page views and 340.860 unique visitors) and Viaje Aqui (with more than 6 million page views and around 850 thousand unique visitors). Data from July 2009.
Through Abril.com, Internet users have access to the entire content of each magazine, with more than 80 sites dedicated to Abril’s brands. In 2009, there were more than 156 million pages views, with around 26 million unique visitors.
As regards Abril no Celular, a pioneer in terms of wireless services since the year 2000, it makes more than 130 products from 30 Abril’s brands available through all mobile phone operators.
