He has over 30 years experience in auditing, accounting, internal control systems, costing systems, company assessment and taxes. He was Chairman of the Audit Committee of the International Federation of Accountants - IFAC. He was President of Instituto dos Auditores Independentes do Brasil - IBRACON (2002/2004), having previously presided over the 5th Regional Section of IBRACON, São Paulo. He is a member of the boards of several companies and, since 2007, has been a member of the Audit & Risk Committee of Grupo Abril.
