Giancarlo Civita
He joined Abril in 1982 as trainee in the Press. He was, as of 1990, successively, Programming Director of TVA, General Director of MTV, Vice-President of the Thematic Unit, Vice-President of the Entertainment Division and Vice-President of the Youngster Unit. In February 2003, he left the Group’s executive routine to take up the Vice-Presidency of the Abril Management Board and, at the same time, set up his own company. In 2006, he resumed his activities in Abril and became Executive Vice-President. In March 2007, he took up the Executive Presidency of Grupo Abril. He graduated from ESPM, with post graduation from the Harvard Business School.

Victor Civita
Member of Abril Group's Management Board, he joined the company in 1990 as Programming & Production Director of MTV, being responsible for the TV channel's setting up in Brazil. He was also Programming & Production Director of TVA, of Abril Produções and Vice-President of the Youngster Unit at Editora Abril. He graduated in Political Sciences from Columbia University.

Jairo Leal
Jairo became the President of Editora Abril in 2009. He has been working at Abril since 1973 and has held various positions, such as Planning and Control Manager, Finance Director and Circulation Director. In 2007 he became Vice-President of Editora Abril. He is a graduate in business administration and accounting from Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas FMU, with specialization in finance administration from USP.

Manoel Amorim
He’s been the Chairman of Abril Educação S.A., a leading company in the private education and educational content areas, since June 2010. Before heading Abril Educação, he presided Ponto Frio, was Chairman at VIVO, the largest mobile telephony company in the country, General Director at Telecomunicações São Paulo S.A., Telesp, a Fixed Telecommunications Operator in the State of São Paulo, Chairman at America Online Brazil and General Manager for the “Baby Care” Division of Procter & Gamble in Latin America. Before that, he took many marketing functions at Procter & Gamble. Throughout his career, Manoel Amorim took many different functions in Brazil, in Spain, in United States and in Venezuela. Besides executive functions, he has also acted as advisor in many corporate management boards, including Vivo’ Board, and Telefonica’s Board in 6 different countries in Latin America, as well as at the American Chamber of Commerce, at Investcred Bank, and at Mastercard International. He currently is a member of the National Advisory Committee of the Marriot School of Business at the University of Brigham Young. He’s an active member of the Young Presidents Organization, Chapter São Paulo.Manoel Amorim graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Military Engineering Institute, in Rio de Janeiro, and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard University.

Arnaldo Tibyriçá
Arnaldo took up the Legal Vice-Presidency in January 2008, after having been Corporate Legal Director since 2003. He had previously worked in Grupo C&A, Banco Itaú and BCP Telecomunicações. He has a law degree from PUC-SP.

Douglas Duran
Vice-President of Finances & Control and Shared Services since 2006. In Abril since 1978, he was Treasury Director of Editora Abril, CFO of TVA, Planning & Business Director of Abril Entretenimento, Managing Director of Dinap and Director of International Relations. He is a business manager, with specialization in finances from USP, having attended the Program for Management Development from Harvard Business School.

Marcio Ogliara
He joined Abril in 1992 as Manager of Human Resources of MTV. He was Abril’s Corporate Quality Manager, TVA’s HR Manager, HR Director of Grupo Entretenimento and Corporate Remuneration Director. He took up direction of the HR Consultancy in 2004. Before Abril, he had worked in Grupo Bunge.

Claudio Baronni
Project Director, was Superintendent Director of Abril Printing Plant, where he joined the group in 1971. He is graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo and he earned MBAs of Industrial Administration and Labor Security.

Eduardo Costa
Superintendent Director of Abril Printing Plant, he has developed his entire career at Gráfica Abril, where he started as a trainee in February 1988 to become later a Production Director, the position he has occupied since 2008. Eduardo is a Mechanical Engineering graduate at the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP), and has a MBA on Management Development and Business Management Society from the Management Institute Foundation (FIA - USP).

Fernando Mathias
In October 2009, he assumed DGB’S Superintendence, a distribution and logistics holding gathering companies Dinap, Treelog and Fernando Chinaglia. He’s been working at Abril Group for 21 years, having undertaken many functions, such as Regional Director at Avulsas, as well as Network Director and Commercial Director. He graduated in Mathematics at PUC- SP (Pontific Catholic University of Sao Paulo), with specialization in Marketing at ESPM (Higher School of Publicity and Marketing) and a Business Administration Post-Graduation at USP (University of Sao Paulo).

Helena Bagnoli
Managing Director of MTV, is a historian and journalist graduated from University of São Paulo. Publisher in April since 1999, he served as a director in the areas of multimedia, women and culture. By mid-2010 was director of Business Unit Superintendent who united all of the young women's magazines and Editora Abril.

Marcelo Bonini
Director of Finance, Planning and Corporate Control, joined the company in December 1993. He began his career in Abril Group as Controller of TVA where he remained until 1999 in the position of Chief Financial Officer. That year, he was appointed Director of Corporate Planning and Control. In May 2007, he incorporated the Board of Finance to his position. From December 1986 to December 1993, he worked as Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, where he served several clients, including Abril Group. He graduated in Accounting Sciences at PUC-SP.

Thomaz Roberto Scott
Director of Corporate Auditing since 2006, he worked in Bank Boston, ArthurAndersen and Banco Real. Thomaz Scott graduated in Business Management in São Luiz University and took part of the Management Program of the Toronto University in Canada.

Cleide Castellan
She is Executive Adviser of the Board of Directors of Abril S.A. She has been working at the Group since 1979, and held a position at the Corporate Relations Executive Board. She is a graduate in Public Relations from Faculdade de Comunicação de Santos and in sociology and politics from Escola de Sociologia e Política de São Paulo.
